‘Ferment Your Own Soft Drinks’ Workshop, Thursday 8th February
Join us on Thursday 8th February, 6pm - 7.30pm, for a ‘Ferment Your Own Soft Drinks’ workshop with Hearth at Gladwell’s!
Maisie Collins, baker, fermenter and owner of Hearth - a social enterprise bakery focused on social, industrial and agricultural regeneration - is offering a 1/5hr ‘Ferment Your Own Soft Drinks’ workshop at Gladwell’s!
In this intimate and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn all about and taste different types of fermented soft drinks such as Kvass, Tepache, Water Kefir & Kombucha, and communally make kvass from start to finish. Everyone will get a bottle to take home with them, along with the knowledge, tools and techniques to continue on your own circular kitchen journey.
Because of the nature of kvass, it’s not suitable for anyone with a wheat or gluten allergy. If you are still keen to participate in the workshop, you’re welcome to still join but unfortunately this drink is not for you.
